California

The last weekend in July, Molly and I met up with Brady in California. Brady had a week-long conference there for work. We decided to make a little week-end family vacation out of it. Brady's parents drove down from Pocatello to spend that time with us. We had so much fun! It was really short, but really fun! Here are the things we did....

Downtown Disney
Brady's Hotel was right across that street from Disneyland.
We didn't end up going into Disneyland (we figured Molly
was too small to appreciate it for the $) but we did walk around
Downtown Disney.

The Beach
We went to the beach while we were there. It was a
wonderful day for the beach...as you can tell...
it was BUSY! We had a lot of fun! Molly was really
scared of the water for some reason, but she LOVED
the sand!

After the beach, we went to this very authentic Mexican restaurant.
It was so good!


San Diego Zoo
We traveled to San Diego to go to the Zoo.
It was a REALLY big zoo!
Molly had so much fun! She loves the animals!

We ate our lunch before going inside.

We took a bus tour of the whole zoo!

We had an ICEE that cooled us down on the
hot day, and gave us lovely lips!

Venice Beach
We went to the Vince beach boardwalk. But first, We had to say
goodbye to Brady. His flight left that afternoon.

A really funny guy that we saw. It is interesting what
people will do for money! Keep in mind it is like 85 degrees!


Rodeo Drive
The last place that we went was the famous
Rodeo (row-day-oh) Dr. It is the shopping strip
that you see in a lot of the movies. And sure enough, while we
were trying to find a parking spot, Chevy Chase walked right by our car!
I was like-"Holy Crap! Thats Chevy Chase!" Of course we didn't
have a camera handy!
